ABOUT US

Who We Are
We are a not for profit dog training club, run by a board of directors and officers elected from the membership according to our bylaws. We promote obedience training skills to foster human-dog relationships and communication, canine good citizenship, and foundation skills for dog activities and sports including therapy work, fun games and competition events. We rely on our volunteer membership to help with all aspects of the club.
WHAT WE DO
We offer classes to members and non-members taught by paid professional dog trainers or experienced club members to help people develop the skills to teach their pets basic obedience, and build a happy relationship with their dogs. We also hold classes and practice sessions for people interested in continuing dog sport and other activities, such as AKC competition Obedience and Rally, tricks and tracking. We hold AKC Obedience and Rally trials every year. Many members are involved in other dog sports and activities like Agility, Therapy Dogs, Dock Diving and Search & Rescue.

How we are Governed
The club is governed by its Constitution and Bylaws, operating as a not-for-profit social club. We ask all members and class participants to abide by our training guidelines.
