She has done dog therapy visits and completed the Pets and People Therapy Dog Excellent title. Jane has also been a regional director for the national Toller Club, finishing a six year term in 2005. Jane believes that dog training should be fun and successful for dog and handler. The clicker based method of training teaches dogs how to "do it right" rather than punishing a dog for "doing it wrong." With clicker based dog training, everybody wins. Jane has a bachelor's degree in secondary education and has taught courses in horticulture for both youngsters and adults. She runs the research greenhouses for Wheaton College. |
